How much does Marking.ai cost?
Individual plans start at £21 a month, with Pro at £36 and Plus at £65, each carrying a monthly submission allowance. Every new account gets 20 free submissions first, one time, with the full Pro feature set. Whole-school licensing covers the school as one workspace with unlimited teacher seats on a pooled annual allowance, and is priced with us directly.
Pricing questions
What does the free trial include?
20 free submissions, one time - not per month. The trial exposes the full Pro feature set rather than a cut-down version, so what you try is what you would buy.
Which currency am I charged in?
All payments are processed in USD today. The app can display a converted reference price in your local currency, but the charge itself is in USD.
Do you have a multi-academy trust licence?
Not as a distinct product. Each school is licensed as its own workspace - there is no trust-level administration or shared allowance across schools today. Talk to us about a group of schools and we will work out the arrangement.
What counts as a submission?
One submission is one student's work, submitted against one assessment, and marked for the first time. That is the only thing that uses your allowance. Re-marking a question, regenerating feedback, generating class summaries, and producing insights and exports do not count as new submissions.
